One of the purposes of this ministry is to show the genuine care and friendliness of the Oakwood family in a non-threatening way. We do this every Sunday by delivering a fresh baked good to our visitors’ homes. Bakers: Call to volunteer to bake a fresh item attractively wrapped for Sunday delivery. Takers: Call to arrange to help deliver baked goods to our visitors’ homes one Sunday after church. For more information contact Pastor Rusty at .
In the event of a death in the church family, this ministry helps meet the needs of the grieving family by providing a meal following a funeral service. Team members call on the church members to provide different vegetables, salads and desserts to accompany meat and bread provided by the church. The team is responsible for having the meal ready in the Student Worship Center and to provide the cleanup after. For more information contact Debbie Sorensen at
